Enroll in a Safety First Boating School class, and get the N.J. BOATING SAFETY CERTIFICATE required by law.
The price is $75 per person and because of the limited space available all spots must be paid in advance and the course fee is non-refundable. Please text 609-217-7608 your Name and number of people attending and we will call you to get your credit card info.
This is a one day course. A NJ BOATING SAFETY CERTIFICATE will be issued at the end of class upon successful completion of the exam.
Safety First Boating School classes teach you the safety procedures that will make you a boater who knows what to do in any situation. You’ll go to sea with your state-required Boating Safety certificate and your confidence in your knowledge of the boater’s “Rules of the Road.” State laws and federal requirements are covered, as well as:
• Accidents
• Aids to Navigation
• Anchoring
• BWI
• Equipment
• Fueling
• Navigation Lights
• Personal Watercraft
• Trailering
• Other related Boating Safety topics including VHF (radio) usage.
Course text materials will be provided. One of our USCG-licensed captains will teach the class.
